{Spring Litter 2013} Three Weeks

It's going by super fast, but the pups turned three weeks old yesterday!Their eyes and ears have opened and they're trying to take their first steps. As they are getting more mobile it's getting harder to take pictures, of all of them together! 

The first group picture, I think they would rather play...

After a few minutes they were already spread out, being in a line is hard work.

[BOYS]

 Blaze the first one to take a few steps, has a funny personality. He's a ham for the camera.

Gunny likes three things, eating, sleeping, and wrestling with his brother. Pictures? not so much..

{GIRLS}

 Kelly is the lazy one, she pretty much slept through the whole picture taking process, but playing with her siblings is fun too!

Kelly loves playing with her brothers, eating, and getting attention.

Plum is always playing or snuggling with her sisters, but she likes to eat as well..

Ruby is always happy, sometimes it looks like she's smiling; now that she's moving around she likes to wrestle with the other pups too!

{Spring Litter 2013} Two Weeks

The puppies are two weeks old today!

As the pups are approaching almost 4 1/2 lbs, their eyes are partially opening!

They get more and more mobile every day, so they are always moving around the whelping box.

{Spring Litter 2013} One Week

The pups are one week old today! They've gained about 20 ounces and have doubled in size! It's crazy how fast they grow, but they take after their daddy, and eat every chance they get..

[BOYS]

(Gunny) 

Gunny has gained 21 oz since birth, and is always moving around the whelping box. He also likes to snuggle up with one of his sisters.

(Blaze)

Blaze has gained 20.5 oz since his birthday; he likes to feel secure, and he is usually always underneath another puppy or his mommy.

{GIRLS}

(Kelly)

Miss Kelly has gained 23 oz since her birthday. She's very squirmy and is always moving around the box.

(Daisy)

Daisy has gained 21 oz since birth. She loves to cuddle with her siblings, but eating is a fun thing too.

(Ruby)

Ruby was born the smallest but didn't stay that way for long, she has gained 22 oz since her birthday. She loves to eat and snuggle with her momma.

(Plum)

Plum has gained 22 oz since birth. The sleepy one of the bunch she is always cuddled up with someone.

{2013} Spring Litter

We have very exciting news! Ellie and Dusty's litter arrived last night, Ellie had six pups, four girls and two boys. Mom and the pups are doing well, and all are healthy. 

{Girls}

Kelly has a green collar, she weighs 1 lb. 2 oz.

Ruby has a maroon collar, she weighs 1 lb.

Daisy has the yellow collar, and weighed 1 lb 1 oz.

 

Plum has a purple collar, she weighed 1 lb 3 oz

{The Boys}

Gunny has the brown collar, he weighs 1 lb 3 oz

Blaze has an orange collar, and he weighs 1 lb 4.5 oz.
